This Giclee Print, titled ‘Dots 01’, along with ‘Dots 02’, comprises a watercolor series in two parts that captures, for me, the essence of a past life.

In my past, dots became data points to track attributes and progress as a form of analyzing the picture of me through time.

Much like personal evolution, the watercolor dots embody an imperfect grid, with splatters and errors.

Nothing in our lives is black and white. The concepts of ‘always’ and ‘never’ are too binary to subscribe to. This series represents a life of steps forward as well as steps backward to remind us that we are exactly where we need to be.
