This Giclee Print, titled ‘Pop 02’, along with ‘Pop 01’, comprises extremely high-quality scans of Polaroids, forming a two-part series. For me, this series captures the essence of Andy Warhol.

I had been shooting Polaroids since 2019, and in 2021, the idea for this series came to me when my collection of coffee table books took on more and more Warhol. As Andy had been dubbed the king of pop art, I wanted to create a series that would salute him for everything he was and everything he had been through.

What better way to ‘pop’ than with balloons?

This print is editioned out of 100. Each print comes with a seal of authenticity indicating its production date, edition number (e.g., 00/100), and DiVastanzo’s signature.
