This Giclee Print, titled ‘Acrylic’, is a portrait that captures, for me, the essence of excitement at the start of something new. 

The idea for this series unfolded during September of 2023 when I had to face a loved one’s mortality. I began painting large-scale textured art. I loved how the paint looked every time I opened a new can.

This piece reinforces the concept that beauty can be created out of pain and that it’s beautiful to begin a new chapter, even when all you did was start.
