This Giclee Print, titled ‘Just 02’, along with ‘Just 01’, comprises a portrait series in two parts that captures, for me, the essence of a curious inner child.

The idea for this series unfolded after seeing the ‘Barbie’ movie. I absolutely loved Barbies as a little kid and even now as a big kid. Ryan Gosling’s portrayal of Ken reminded me of how my Ken dolls somehow always ended up without any clothes on…

I still had my, now vintage, Kens, and I wanted to create this series to entertain and bring joy to my own inner child.

After all, he’s just Ken, and anywhere else, he’d be a 10.
