This Giclee Print, titled ‘Bet It All on Blonde’, is an ink blot halftone drawing that captures, for me, the essence of an icon.

Since college, I have been infatuated with the concept of Marilyn Monroe. It got to a point where I had an ex put me down to my friends by saying, “He thinks he’s Marilyn.” And maybe I did… what’s so wrong about that?

I created this piece to reimagine the famous image of Marilyn, used to inspire Andy Warhol’s infamous pop art screen prints and paints, because I needed to nod to a woman who’s inspired me for so long and have my own piece of art to honor her.
