This Giclee Print, titled ‘Statue 01’, is a graphite drawing which captures, for me, the essence of seeing beauty in what’s broken.

The idea for this piece unfolded during a trip to the Metropolitan Museum of Art. Museums, in general, are one of my favorite places to be. I get to see the latest curations and visit old favorites, observing and appreciating. The entire experience is quite meditative for me.

Life happens in cycles of fracture and repair, but what if the fracture was enough? And what if the repair isn’t the fix that needs fixing?
